MINISTERING GOD’S HEALING POWER TO THE SICK

Acts 3:6, Acts 14:8-10

…Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ … rise up and walk. *And there sat a certain man … impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb… The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.

We saw in our study yesterday, that it is not enough to pray to God to heal people, especially if you are in contact with them (physically or virtually). You must exercise the authority of Christ over that sickness and command it to leave their body. God has healed them already through the sufferings of Christ on the Cross. Now God wants you to activate or call into being what He has already done. If you must pray at all, pray and thank God for healing them already through Christ, then command the sickness to go away from them. Declare them healed and free. There is a time to talk to God and there is a time to talk for God or as God (representing God). Jesus did not say you will pray to Him to heal the sick. He said in His name (authority) you shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover, (Mark 16:18).

Even when it came to raising the dead, Jesus did not pray to God to do it. Before Lazarus’ grave, Jesus gave thanks to God for hearing Him, then Jesus commanded Lazarus to come forth! (John 11:41-44). Jesus was praying to God before getting there, but when He got there, to raise Lazarus, He had to exercise the authority of God over the death situation. Peter also did the same thing in raising Tabitha from the dead. He knelt down and prayed then he turned to her body and told her to arise, (Acts 9:40).

Action Point:
Is any sick around you? Thank God for healing them through Christ and command the sickness out of them now.
