BIRTHING GOD’S DESIRE FOR OUR NATION

Matthew 6:9-10 (KJV, TPT)

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. *Pray like this: ‘Our Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms, may the glory of your name be the center on which our lives turn. Manifest your kingdom realm, and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is fulfilled in heaven.

God has a great burden and desire for our nation. There are certain good things going on in our nation, but there is also a lot of evil going on that is not God’s will for us. God wants His kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth (in our nation) as it is in Heaven. God wants to perfect all that concerns us as a nation (Psa.138:8) and He wants to do more than we can ask or imagine, (Eph.3:20).

God has great plans for our nation and He has a great harvest in our nation, but He wants us to partner with Him to birth His plan and harvest for our nation. We need to pray for labourers to be sent into our nation and we must be willing to also go forth as labourers to execute God’s plans and reap His harvest for our nation, (Luke 10:2-3). We must not be discouraged and we must never give up until our nation becomes all God wants it to be, (Isa62:7).

God wants us to ask Him for our nation, (Psa.2:8). As we pray God will impregnate us with His desires for our nation and He will empower us to birth and execute them. He will fill us with the visions, passions, strategies, innovations and His strength to do His will and advance His kingdom in our nation. I believe that through us many things will fall in place and God’s glory will be seen in our nation, (Isa.40:3-5).

Prayer Focus:
Thank God for our nation and ask Him for His kingdom to come and His will to be done in this nation.
