TEXT: “And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt: But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness” ..- Exodus 13 :17 – 18.

When you understand the ways of God, how He passes you through a process with the bid to mature you to fully reveal His glory as the light of the world, you will not be envious of those ahead of you because you will surely get there, you are growing to it.

No wonder scripture says, “..but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise” 2Cor.10 :12.

It is unholy comparison that makes many to go out if God’s will to acquire things in order to impress and ‘measure up’.

Hear me child of God! If it is not God, it is not good. In God there is speed, there is the place of unprecedented favour, but it is in righteousness. You cannot swindle someone of his money and say it is favour.

Supernatural supply is based on kingdom principles. God cannot contradict His word. So any drive outside Godliness is not of God. God has great stock of wealth for you. The wealth of sinners are laid up for the just ( Prov.13 :22 ). He says you should ask of Him and He will give you the heathen for inheritance and the uttermost part of the earth for your possession ( Psa. 2 :8), but He delights in the prosperity of your soul and so grooms you and He blesses you.

That is why He says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” . 3 John 2.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, I receive fresh grace to grow up and stay up.
