Silent Them With Good Works

TEXT: “In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good work: in doctrine shewing u corruptness, gravity, sincerity, Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you”. Titus 2 :7 – 8.

As a disciple of Jesus Christ indeed, men must look for ways to paint you bad and tarnish your image. As a matter of fact, the mark of discipleship is that you experience the kind of persecution that Jesus Christ experienced while on earth. But while men are busy nailing and persecuting you, make sure you are an addicted heater and doer of the words of Christ, make sure you are not guilty of what they are saying, but rather you are living a good life that is worthy of emulation.

As a Christian, if everyone is at peace with you, it may simply mean that you are the one at the compromising end because the world cannot inter-wine with the word. The two had never agreed not at all in history, “because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God neither indeed can be”. So to try to get them off your back in the level they are is to actually intensify their acts against you. To silent opposition and compel them to now to your God is by good works. Shine forth as, Matthew 5 :16; declares.

Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God (1 Cor. 1 :24), and He has sent you with His Spirit to do greater works than He did ( John 14 :12 ). You have His ability in you to silence the voice of liars with the display of the truth in good works to the glory of His name. If you can picture the face of Potiphar’s wife when Joseph’s good works projected him to becoming the Prime Minister in Egypt, you will see it filled with shame.

You have the key to silent them, so use it..

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, Iet my light so shine before men.
