Who Is Your Pastor? (3)

TEXT: “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding”. – Jeremiah 3 :15.

Rhema for Living 8 March 2022 Devotional MESSAGE

If there is a man to pray, there is God to answer, has become one major slogan of this commission and beyond because of emphasis it places on prayer which we engage in ceaselessly without season.

As I always say, “There is no other solution I know out of any situation 9f life than prayer and that is what I prescribe to anyone with all sincerity”. I teach scripturally based prayers because nothing facilitates answers to prayers like praying with scriptures.

Praying with scriptures is holding God accountable to His promises because when we pray according to His will, He hears us nd grants the petition we asked of Him (1 John 5 :14). So, we cannot separate prayer from the word of God, the word of God is the basis of praying. The whole world bows to the word of the Creator and when we go into prayer with scriptures, we are telling the creature to hear the voice of the Creator.

As Ephesians 6 :18; declares, we pray always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit. We pray in the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues which in our heavenly language. When we declare our petition in our understanding declaring His will, we switch on to the Holy Ghost, praying in tongues. We pray in the Holy Ghost, building up ourselves on our most Holy faith (Jude 20).

We pray without ceasing (1 Thess. 5 :17) engaging the three departments of prayer stated in Matthew 7 :7; until we receive answers to your prayer. When we ask (petition) and yet no result, we proceed to seek making intercessions coupled with fasting and if no result yet, we knock going into warfare. We have no option than to be persistent in the place of prayer as Jesus showed us in the parable He gave in Luke 18 :1 – 8.

We continue praying untill our problem gives up. That is why I always say, “What prayer cannot do, more prayer will do”, because it takes praying to live victorious on earth.

Child of God, it is like priest, like people. So if you do not love praying, who is your pastor?

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, baptize me afresh with the passion for prayer.
