READ: Ephesians 4:22-32

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, … And be not conformed to this world: BUT BE YE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND,…|” – Romans 12:1-2

After you are born again, a great change will come in your life if you renew your mind with the Word of God. Transformation takes place because of the renewing or reprograming of your mind. Without the renewing of the mind, there will be no transformation and no change!

In the book of Ephesians, Paul describes major changes in people’s lives. He describes these changes as “putting on the new man”. The new man will steal no more! The new man will put away lying! The new man will put away bad speech! The new man will put away bitterness, wrath, clamour and evil speaking. The new man will now be kind, tender-hearted and forgiving. These great changes have come about because he is renewed in the spirit of his mind. In other words, there is a renewal in the deepest part of the computer. There is a renewal in the spirit of the mind!

Since you have found Jesus, everybody is waiting for the great change in your life. Salvation is always accompanied by a great change. A great change will come about when you renew your mind. As your mind changes, your life changes. Your mind is the computer. It needs to be re-programed with the Word of God.

What you put into the computer is what comes out of it. If you put in garbage, garbage will come out. If you put in the Word of God, a life based on the Word of God will come out. Many people do not re program their minds after they are born again. That is why there is no change. Salvation always induces radical changes in a person. The things you used to do, you will do them no more! The things you used to say, you say them no more! The places you used to go, you go there no more! All these great changes will take place because your mind has been freshly re-programed with the Word of God.
