TOPIC: God’s Wisdom Is Ordained For Your Glory (TREM Devotional 10 April 2022)

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:” 1 Corinthians 2:7 (KJV)

Beloved, the best of men are still men, they have their limitations. When you depend on man’s wisdom, you will go nowhere. At best it will only limit you. The Psalmist said, “I have seen an end of all perfection” (Psalm 119:96).

Our text today says that God has given to the believer the kind of wisdom that distinguishes us from the world. This wisdom sets us apart among equals. In other words, when a believer opens his mouth to speak in line with the word of God, he is speaking divine wisdom and it overrules all earthly wisdom. The earthly wisdom is already dethroned. The Bible says that we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery. Notice that the scripture says that this wisdom is hidden. Yes, God hides it from the enemy but opens it up for us. This wisdom was ordained for our glory and not our shame. Therefore, I rebuke everything that brings shame and disappointment to your life.

Child of God you must understand that you are not called for shame but for His Glory. Anything that the enemy brings against you to molest you and cause shame, today I rebuke it in Jesus’ name. As you go about your assignment, I encourage you to take time to pray for the wisdom of God. Pray for the wisdom, to navigate the issues of life, and issues at your work place. I would like you to know that every year is peculiar, and every year has in its divine opportunities. So, don’t take this year as just another year. Seek the face of God and ask God for the wisdom to make the right decision at the right time so that you can get the right results. Solomon went to God with an offering beyond words and God gave him a blank cheque to ask anything. But the man knew better; he asked God for wisdom. Today, I pray for a release of divine wisdom over your life in Jesus’ name.

DAILY CONFESSIONS: APRIL 10TH – APRIL 16TH

The Lord gives me the seed to sow and the bread to eat. He guides me continually. He satisfies my soul in drought; he makes my bones fat. I am like a well-watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not. I will build houses and live in them; I will plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them. I will not build, and another inhabits, I will not plant and another eats. I shall not labor in vain or bring forth for trouble. I will not go out in haste, nor go by flight; for the Lord will go before me and the God of Israel will be my rereward. His kindness shall not depart from me neither shall the covenant of peace be removed. (Is. 55:10; Is. 58:11, Is. 65:21-23, Is. 52:11; Is. 54:10)

Every day and in every way I am getting better: spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, morally, and in all my endeavor.

I am called for a purpose. I will fulfill this purpose and I will arrive at God’s ordained destiny for my life. Nothing will cut me short. I will make a formidable impact in my world for the Kingdom.
