Luke blessed our lives so much with his unique teachings. He contributed greatly to the ministry of our Lord Jesus by doing a little bit more in addition to what Matthew, Mark and John had done. Here are at least fifteen teachings that Matthew, Mark and John completely left out.
1. Luke gave us the story of the Good Samaritan: Luke 10:30-37.
2. Luke gave us the teaching on Importunity: Luke 11:5-8.
3. Luke gave us the story of the Rich Fool: Luke 12:16-21.
4. Luke gave us the teaching on the fig tree in the vineyard: Luke 13:6-9
5. Luke gave us the teaching on seating of the wedding guests: Luke 14:7-11.
6. Luke gave us the story of the cost of building a tower: Luke 14:28-30.
7. Luke gave us the story of the cost of going to war: Luke 14:31.
8. Luke gave us the teaching on the lost sheep: Luke 15:4-6.
9. Luke gave us the teaching on the lost coin: Luke 15:8-9.
10. Luke gave us the teaching on the prodigal son: Luke 15:11-32.
11. Luke gave us the teaching on the story of the unjust servant: Luke 16:1-9.
12. Luke gave us the story of the rich man and Lazarus: Luke 16:19-31.
13. Luke gave us the teaching that the reward for hard work is more work: Luke 17:7-10.
14. Luke gave us the teaching on the shameless widow: Luke 18:2-5.
15. Luke gave us the story on the proud prayer: Luke 18:10-14
