Psalm 112:1-2 Praise ye the Lord, Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
Isaiah 54:3 For thou shalt break froth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
Our text above reveals that one of the blessings that follow those that fear the Lord is that their seed shall be mighty on the earth. As a believer, your seed refers to your offspring (both biological, adopted and spiritual) and it also refers to everything that proceeds from your life. This means that your words, ideas, products, the laying of your hands and everything you are engaged in will be mighty. Everyone connected to you and everything that proceeds from your life will be full of God’s power and dominion.
The reason your seed will be mighty is because through Christ, you are one with God. In 1 Corinthians 6:17, the Bible says that He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit. Isaiah 54:5 says, “For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.” Because you are one with God, whatever is coming from you is also coming from God, so it is bound to carry God’s overcoming glory and power. A time came that even pieces of cloth that touched Apostle Paul’s body were infused with God’s mighty power, Acts 19:11-12. Because it is a promise from God, you can declare over everyone connected to you and everything that proceeds out of you that they are mighty and that they are blessed. Declare that your seed is fruitful, that it will multiply, that it will have dominion, that it will replenish the earth and that it will subdue the earth. You will have seed and your seed will be mighty. Great testimonies and exploits shall accompany your seed and all that pertains to you.
