Joshua 14:10-12 (NIV) “… the Lord … has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time he said this to Moses… So here I am today, eighty-five years old! I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I’m just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then. Now give me this hill country that the Lord promised me… You yourself heard then that the Anakites were there and their cities were large and fortified, but, the Lord helping me, I will drive them out just as he said.”
Your testimony shall be greater than the testimony of Caleb in our text above. As you continue to focus on Christ and fellowship with Him, He will continue to divinely renew your strength. You will continue to mount up with wings like eagles, run and not grow weary, walk and never faint, Isa. 40:31. His amazing grace will cause His divine life, power and nature to continually work mightily in and through you.
Due to the renewing strength of God’s grace, Caleb remained so strong and passionate that instead of avoiding challenges, he welcomed them. In spite of his age, he asked for the hill country where the giants were.
I see God satisfying your mouth with good things and renewing your youth like that of an eagle, Psa. 103:5. You will flourish like the palm tree and grow and be strong like a Cedar in Lebanon. You will flourish in the things of God and you will continue to bring forth fruit even in old age, Psa. 92:12-14. Today, the joy of the Lord is your strength. In His presence, you joy will keep overflowing. Your passion, zeal and love for God and for others will be renewed. Though the devil is causing iniquity and chaos to abound in the world so that the love of many wax cold, the love of Christ in you will continually rise. You continue to increase in the fullness of God, Eph. 3:19 and God’s love in you remains fervent, 1 Pet. 4:8.
