INTRODUCTION: While the forgiveness of sins is a profound aspect of Christ’s work, His redemption goes beyond mere forgiveness. Through His death and
resurrection, we are not just forgiven sinners but justified saints, heirs of God’s glorious inheritance. This study will explore the transformative power of Christ’s redemption in our lives.
STUDY:
- Forgiven and Justified: Reflect on Romans 4:25. How does Jesus’ death and
resurrection affect our standing before God?
-Explore Romans 5:1. What does it mean to be declared flawless in God’s eyes through faith in Jesus?
- Discuss the difference’between being forgiven and being justified. How does understanding our justification impact our relationship with God?
- Dying and Rising with Christ:
- Reflect on the concept of dying with Christ and rising as a new creation. How does this transformation occur in the life of a believer?
- Discuss the significance of believers being addressed as saints in the New testament. What does it mean to be a saint in light of Christ’s redemption?
Explore Ephesians 1:1, Philippians 1:1, and Colossians 1:2. How does being identified as saints influence our understanding of our identity in Christ?
- Inheriting God’s Provision:
-Reflect on Colossians 1:12. What does it mean to have a glorious inheritance
