TOPIC: Always be ready to witness Jesus

TEXT: 1 Peter 3:15-16

KEY VERSE: 1 Peter 3:15 (GNB) -“But have reverence for Christ in your hearts, and honor him as Lord. Be ready at all times to answer anyone who asks you to explain the hope you have in you, but do it with gentleness and respect.”

INTRODUCTION: As followers of Christ, we are called to be ambassadors of His love and truth in the world. One essential aspect of our calling is to always be
ready to share the hope and message of the Gospel with those around us. This study wil explore how we can prepare ourselves to be effective witnesses for Jesus Christ.

STUDY:

  1. Prayer and Sensitivity to the Spirit:
-Continually pray for opportunities to share the Gospel and for God to prepare the hearts of those you will minister to.
  • Stay sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and be prepared to respond when opportunities arise. Ephesians 6:18
  1. Excitement and Passion for the Gospel:
  • Cultivate excitement and passion for sharing the Gospel by immersing
yourself in the message of salvation. Ephesians 6:15.
  • Let your understanding of the Gospel produce joy and enthusiasm, driving you to share it willingly and eagerly. Romans 1:16
  1. Love as the Motive:
  • Let love be your motive and driving force when sharing the Gospel. Love people with the same love that God has for them, desiring their salvation. John 3:16.
  • Allow the love of Christ, which compelled Him to the Cross, to motivate and guide your witness to the lost. 2 Corinthians 5:14.

CONCLUSION:
As followers of Christ, we are entrusted with the message of salvatlon and the privilege of sharing it with others. Let us approach this task with reverence for Christ, readiness to respond to opportunities, excitement for the Gospel, and love as our
driving force. May we always be prepared to give an account of the hope that we have in Jesus Christ, doing so with gentleness, respect, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
