Topic: Accessing Breakthroughs Via Kingdom Stewardship!

Welcome to another exciting week! I hope you were blessed by last week teaching. This week, we shall focus on: Accessing Breakthroughs via Kingdom Stewardship!

We discovered that every commandment of Scriptures is for our profiting and serving God and the interests of His Kingdom is one of such commandments, which undeniably carries great profits because it guarantees our access to realms of noiseless breakthroughs. For instance, we are commanded to seek first the well-being, advancement and enlargement of the Kingdom and things others are struggling to get shall be ‘sweatlessly’ added to us. As it is written, But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). Therefore, living a Kingdom driven priority life; that is, committing to Kingdom advancement endeavours as our priority for living is our launching pad into a world of wonders. It is a world where we do not have to demand for anything before they are added to us. This is the Kingdom first commandment. Furthermore, seeking God first and the interests of His Kingdom empowers us to live more than a conqueror. This implies that we are not fighting any battle; we are just watching our victories unfolding before our eyes. That is, we are not fighting; yet, we are winning and that is what we call more than a conqueror. We must recognise that a spiritual vaccination of Matthew 6:33 will settle us forever. For instance, we have a lot of needs but we are praying ‘thy Kingdom come’. We may look like a fool but we are on our way to our high places. Peter said to Jesus, …Lo, we have left all, and followed thee. And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting (Luke 18:28-30). Serving God may be costly but the end result is priceless.

Moreover, seeking first the Kingdom of God entitles us to the good hand of God upon our lives. When we serve God with our little strength, He turns it to the strength of a unicorn and when we serve God with our brain, He turns us to a genius. Therefore, invest every available time in the Kingdom. Anna served God daily with prayers and fasting in the temple at the age of eighty-four. Concerning her, the Bible records, And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day (Luke 2:37). Stop serving God on a contract basis; make Him your reason for living! For instance, the mystery of ‘Kingdom first’ is the great secret behind our breakthrough in ministry. Serving God is not a gift; it is absolutely a choice (Joshua 24:15). It is our choice that defines our lot. Also, we get healed by faith but we stay healthy by service. For it is written, Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit (John 15:2). Remember, reconciling people to God makes us ambassadors of Christ and a faithful ambassador is entitled to healthy living (Proverbs 13:17; 2 Corinthians 5:20).

Serving God and the interests of His Kingdom does not only pay the best but it pays the most; that is, it pays the unmatchable (Exodus 23:25). No one serving God in truth is permitted to beg for bread. Thus, the only way to prove that is to seek first the advancement and enlargement of the Kingdom of God and then watch to see whether He is faithful to His Word. However, we cannot prove that without our obedience to that great commandment. Doing whatever the Word commands will commit God to confirm His Word any day, anytime and anywhere in any life. Peter offered his boat and time to serve Jesus (Luke 5:4-7) and he served God into realms of noiseless breakthroughs. So, he graduated from being a fisher of fish to a fisher of men. Thus, it holds a two-way return; which is both in this present time and then in the time to come (eternity). Whatever anybody invests into the Kingdom in terms of time, energy and resources holds present day returns and on top of it, eternal rewards. That is what makes this an overriding commandment.

In summary, there can be no substitute for obedience in our walk with God because obedience is key to experiencing the wonders in the Word. Thus, the stewardship commandment will only deliver its profit by obedience. Therefore, to be able to serve God acceptably, we must be born again. Are you born again? If you are not, this is an opportunity to do so. Simply say the following prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Today, I accept You as my Lord and personal Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now, I know I am born again!
