“For bodily exercise profiteth little; but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come”1 Timothy 4:8 KJV
Recently, I was watching some ladies playing football and it occurred to me that those ladies do a lot of exercise. You see, the Word of God is complete. The Bible says that bodily exercise profits little and you need that little. You don’t just wake up and just move out without exercising the body. Exercise could just be to sit up and sit down. It could be climbing stairs. I do that in my house to keep my heart healthy. I climb the stairs up and down five times.

If you want to fulfil purpose, then you will need to stay fit. Even if you are not a preacher, you still need to stay fit. You do not want to fall apart in your latter years. I know that the ultimate healer is God. Even with the exercise, you still need to believe God. Speak the Word into your life! Eat moderately!  Do not eat everything!  If you enticed by the way food tastes, you would kill yourself unnecessarily. You must come to a point that you eat just because you want to stay healthy. What you carry is too expensive to allow sickness garage you. You may not know nor understand how much of blessing it is to stay healthy until you fall sick or visit the hospital.

When I wake up in the morning, I say ‘Lord, thank you for life, thank you for another day. Thank you that I was able to go to the bathroom, brush my teeth and take my bath by myself. Thank you for the privilege to be alive.’ When you speak such words, you are also exercising your spirit man. Beloved, I declare that you will not fall apart. You will stay healthy. Your body will respond to the Word of God. Every part of your system and internal organs will be together. You will not die but live to declare God’s goodness. Further reading: Proverbs 4:20-27; Isaiah 53:3-5Daily Bible Reading: Morning- Nehemiah 4-6; Evening- Acts 2:22-47
