GIVE GOD THANKS EVERY DAY

“Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;” (Psalms‬ 103:1-4 KJV)

The Psalmsist tells us to remember all God’s benefits, remember it always. You say you don’t know the benefits, probably because there are things you prayed for which are yet to manifest. But He forgave your sins and healed you. Verse 3 “Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases;” You could have gone to hell, you could have been dead and rotten. But He chose to forgive you and He saved you. Don’t forget! Remember it always.

The word “healeth” is a present continuous verb. It means He has healed; He is healing and will still heal. Praise God! He is still healing. That is why you can move about. That is why you are healthy. Remember these and give Him the glory every waking moment of your life, thank Him for the blessing of life.

There are forces that are contending with you every day. “Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.” (Psalms 124:6-7 KJV). There are destroyers all around, but He redeemed your soul from destruction; give Him the glory.

His mercy endures forever, it is not just for a moment, but forever, hallelujah. This means that you can always run to Him for mercy. When everything seems dark and no one seems to be standing by you, there is a place you can run to. He doesn’t shut His doors. Even when you blow it and mess up big time, His doors are always open. Thank You Jesus. Remember to say these words to Him every day.
