DON’T LOSE FAITH DURING THE PROCESS

“And He said, take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the
land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I
will tell thee of.” Genesis 22:2 (KJV)

God wanted to try Abraham to know whether he had learnt his lesson, having gone through
the process; He demanded the son of promise. God was specific about the one Abraham
loved because He didn’t want Abraham to make a mistake.

Genesis 12:3 tells us: “And Abraham rose early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took
two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering,
and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.” Abraham was quick to
obey, having gone through the process God required of him. How did Abraham get there? He
went through the process. It did not happen overnight. When God demanded the Isaac that he
had spent 25 years waiting for, he was quick to obey, trusting that God would raise him.
Having gone through the process, he was ready to be the father of faith. Hebrew chapter
11:17-19 said concerning Abraham, “By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac:
and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said,
that in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even
from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.”

Initially, Abraham didn’t have faith. But the processing had developed his faith. He doubted
God initially, but God was processing him.

Right now, things may not be together for you as it should be. You may not be where God
wants you to be, but something is happening; work is been done in your life. I am confident
that the good work God has started in your life will be perfected. Your future is very
colourful. And it will not be aborted.
