YOU HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN
“Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, And whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.” (Romans 4:7-8 KJV)
Beloved, the law will always judge you, but grace will always lift you up. A lot of believers are falling from one sin to the other because they have not received the truth that they have been forgiven, and that there is no condemnation. You MAY have missed it, but that does not change your position. Your position in Christ is constant. And because it is constant, it has the ability to change your lifestyle.
Jesus asked the woman who was caught in adultery “…Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?” (John 8:10 KJV) Then Jesus said, “…Neither do I condemn thee, go and sin no more.” (John 8:11 KJV) He first gave her the gift of no condemnation, before telling her you can now go and sin no more. If you don’t receive the gift of no condemnation, which comes by grace, you can never go and sin no more. You will keep on sinning as long as you are feeling condemned
The devil wants to condemn you and make you feel guilty so you will run away from God instead of running towards God. If you have a wife that accuses you every day, after a while, you will be afraid to go home. The devil wants you to be afraid of coming boldly into the presence of God.
The bible says in 2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV) that “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” Stop beholding your ugly self. Stop beholding your ugly mistakes. Stop beholding your ugly shortcomings because it cannot change you. Rather, behold the beauty of Jesus because that beauty is for you, not for Him. When you behold His beauty, the bible says you will change into the same image you are beholding from glory to glory by the Spirit of God.
