REST AND CELEBRATE HIM

“There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.” Hebrews 4:9-10 (KJV)

According to the scripture, the Lamb had been “…slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelation 13:8 (KJV). Ever before you were born, the lamb had been slain. The lamb is not about to be slain; it has been slain. In other words, your issue had been taken care of before you arrived on the scene. Everything has been taken care of before you arrived, so why are you bothered? You contributed nothing towards your arrival. God is the one who planned your arrival. He is the one who made your mother and father come together and produce you. Your existence had been finished before the foundation of the world. You have nothing to do with it. So, rest! Doctors will tell you most of the sicknesses and diseases that afflict people are related to lack of rest.

You may say, Brother Mike, what is going to happen tomorrow? How am I going to pay school fees? Am I going to get married? Am I going to finish that building project? I have one word for you. Rest! If God caused you to be born, He has a plan for your life. Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV). The devil is too late in the day to condemn you. Romans 8:1 (KJV). He is too late. You have been accepted in the beloved. Ephesians 1:6 (KJV). God called you His beloved.

Brother Mike, what am I going to do so that my Church will be filled? Rest! That is all you need to do. What should I do so I can have a child of my own, Rest! Why? Because I heard Him say that the barren shall keep house and be joyful mother of children. Psalm 113:9 (KJV). Rest in what He has finished. You know what the Bible says: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” John 12:32 (KJV). So just rest and celebrate Him.
