“For His anger endureth but a moment; in His favour is life. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”.
Psalms 30:5 KJV
In Genesis 37, the scripture tells us the story of Jacob and his children. Joseph’s brothers sold him and told their father that ‘Joseph your son is dead.’ They brought his coat of many colours that distinguished him to the father. Yes, it was his son’s cloth, but they spilled the blood of an animal on it and claimed that an animal had eaten Joseph. For years, Jacob was mourning and living a frustrated life. More so, he had come to the night time of his life; when he should be resting. That is a bad time for somebody to encounter difficulties. But I am glad Jacob’s story did not end in weeping. It ended in praise.
It is important that you maximize your youth, especially if you are still young. Don’t wait until tomorrow to start pursuing your God-given dreams. I am challenging you to go for it when you are young. Don’t be docile. The Kingdom of heaven suffers violence and only the violent take it by force. Don’t be in the company of those who are giving all kinds of excuses. Right where you are, there are still people who are succeeding and smiling to the bank.
The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein. The cattle upon a thousand hills, the beast of the forest, fowls of the air, rubies and diamonds, they belong to your Father. If others cannot have it, you can have it! Don’t ever settle for less. Don’t let people show you sympathy. You don’t need sympathy because you are a covenant child. Whatever God says is yours is yours. The devil can never stop you. The system cannot stop you. I declare that you will get there. The land will produce for you. The weeping is temporary. Joy is coming your way.
