“And Jacob rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days.”
Genesis 37:34. KJV
Yesterday, we started looking at the story of Jacob. At a time when he should be resting, he kept on mourning for his son Joseph. He was mourning for something that never happened. The devil was showing him false evidence that appeared real. Everything he is showing you now is false evidence and it appears real. Jacob was living a lie! ‘Your son Joseph is dead!’ That is a lie! How can your seed be dead? God gave you that seed! He gave you that dream! Beloved, I don’t know the dream you are carrying; I don’t know the seed you have sown; I declare to you: your seed will not die.
While Jacob was mourning and weeping, God was at work. The Bible says, he makes all things beautiful in His time. Beloved, God is in a conference concerning you. There is a meeting going on. No one can understand it! Only God can explain it. Right now, you are in pains. You can’t understand why things are working upside down. But let me tell you something. A conference is going on right now concerning your job, your marital life, your ministry and your family. When the conference is over, your miracle will be delivered to you. The husband will appear! The job will appear! The money will appear. The building will be built. You will have your twins. Whatsoever God does is forever, so that all men might fear Him.
Jacob didn’t know that God was at work, because Joseph was not dead. Joseph was in Egypt. He was left there waiting for the Word of God to arrive. He was put in prison until the Word came. Once the Word comes, it will break every chain of the prison. I pray that the Word of God that will take you out of your present predicament will locate you in Jesus’ Name.
