YOU ARE A LOVING PERSON

Galatians 5:22-23a (LB), 1John 4:8, 17

But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control;*He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. *Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

By God’s nature of love in you, you can see and love people the way God sees and loves them. God is love and because you are born of God, love is your nature. Your understanding of God’s great love for you fuels the development of His nature of love in you. Knowing the love of Christ fills us with the fullness of God, (Eph. 3:19). As you grow in your understanding of God’s great love, it makes you whole and complete.

Do everything you do in love; including speaking the truth (Eph.4:15). God’s nature of love in you causes you to remain selflessly committed to the wellbeing of others. “Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail. Love is eternal…” (1Cor. 13:4-8a, GNB).”Be tolerant of one another and forgive one another whenever any of you has a complaint against someone else. You must forgive one another just as the Lord has forgiven you. And to all these qualities add love, which binds all things together in perfect unity,” (Col. 3:13-14, GNB). The more you believe that you have God’s nature of love in you, the more it will grow and manifest through you.

Prayer:
Father, I thank you that your nature of love in me makes me always selflessly committed to the wellbeing of others.
