GOD IS ABLE AND WILLING

Key Verse: Matthew 8:3 (AMPC) -and He reached out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed by being cured. And instantly his leprosy was cured and cleansed.

Introduction: It is one thing to believe in God’s ability and another to be certain of His willingness to act on your behalf. Through Jesus’ interaction with the leper, we see the heart of God; He is both able and willing to touch us and transform our lives, demonstrating His deep love for us.
Text: Lev. 13:45-46, Rom. 8:32, Matt. 7:11

Study:

  1. Jesus Reveals God’s Willingness
The leper knew Jesus could heal, but was not sure if He would. Jesus made it clear: He is willing to heal and restore (Matt. 8:2-3).
  2. God’s Love Drives His Willingness
God’s willingness stems from His deep love. His touch shows compassion beyond societal boundaries, as seen when Jesus touched the untouchable leper (Lev. 13:45-46).
  3. The Cross is the Ultimate Sign
The Cross is proof of God’s willingness to save and bless us. We are worthy of His grace, and He desires good things for us (Rom. 8:32, Matt. 7:11).

Conclusion:
God is not only able but also willing to intervene in your life. His love for you surpasses your expectations and doubts. Trust in His willingness to act on your behalf, knowing you are worthy of His touch because of Christ. Ask and you will receive
