YOU WILL NOT REGRET SERVING THE LORD

PSALMS 37:23-25 (NLT), PSALMS 107:1 The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread.*O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.

Today, as I celebrate my 80th birthday, my heart is filled with joy, gratitude, and worship to God for His incredible goodness, kindness, and mercies towards me. The Lord has certainly been faithful to me. I would not be where I am or who I am today if it weren’t for Him. Indeed, like the Apostle Paul, I can tell you that everything I am is by God’s grace (1Cor.15:10). I am grateful for the wonderful family He has given me, as well as everyone He has used me to touch and bless, as well as everyone He has connected to me in some way. I thank God for saving me, calling me, and finding me worthy to be used by Him in His vineyard.

I can assure you that knowing the Lord and serving Him wholeheartedly pays off. Since my salvation in 1969, the Lord has allowed me to serve Him, and I have never regretted knowing and serving Him. I want to reassure you that as you continue to know and serve the Lord, He will continue to turn your life around and use you for His glory. He will make you a fisher of men and women. Be passionate about knowing and serving Christ. Be enthusiastic about preaching the Gospel and winning souls for God’s kingdom. Be passionate about touching people with God’s life, power, and love. Remain faithful, and God will continue to bless you, use you, and lift you higher in Him. Your efforts will not be in vain. You will not be denied your reward.

PRAYER FOCUS:
Thank God for His goodness and faithfulness in my life and thank God for the privilege you have to know and serve Him.
