OUR DIVINE SUPPLY AND REWARD SYSTEM (2)

Ephesians 6:6-8 (TPT)

Always do what is right and not only when others are watching, so that you may please Christ as his servants by doing his will. Serve your employers wholeheartedly and with love, as though you were serving Christ and not men. Be assured that anything you do that is beautiful and excellent will be repaid by our Lord, whether you are an employee or an employer.

One of the things we studied yesterday is that God does not reward us or supply our needs according to the provisions or resources of where we work or the economy of our environment and nation. Another thing God wants us to know is that God does not supply our needs or rewards us based on our earthly status.

Like our text above says, your being an employer or an employee is not what determines God’s supply and reward for your work. We saw yesterday that God rewards us from the inheritance He has provided for us in Christ. This means that no matter your status at the moment, it does not limit God’s supply and reward for your work. God supplies for your needs and He rewards you as His son or daughter. Remember that you are a joint heir with Christ, (Rom.8:17). Even as an employer, the size of your organization will not limit God’s supply or His reward for you. It is only the size of your inheritance in Christ that matters.

Always remember that God does not reward position or titles. He rewards faithfulness. Our text above says, “Please Christ as His servant by doing His will.” As an employer or an employee, do the will of God in that organization and keep your eyes on God. God Himself will keep supplying your needs, rewarding you and promoting you.

Faith Declaration:
God bountifully supplies all my needs and He graciously rewards all my work, because I am His child.
