GLORIOUS BENEFITS OF KNOWING YOU ARE JUSTIFIED (1)

ROMANS 5:1-2 (AMPC) Therefore, since we are justified (acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God) through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have … peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ … Through Him also we have…access … by faith into this grace … in which we…stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God.*

The advantages of knowing or having a strong conviction that you are righteous/justified are numerous and glorious.

Romans 8:30 (KJV) says, “Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” The New Living Translation says “And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.” According to the Passion Translation, “having predetermined our destiny, he called us to himself and transferred his perfect righteousness to everyone he called.” And he co-glorified with his Son those who possess his perfect righteousness!” Oh, what a blessing and honour!

According to the Bible, Jesus came to bring many sons to glory (Heb.2:10). God justified us when we responded to God’s call by believing the Gospel and putting our faith in Christ; and because God justified us, He also bestowed His glory on us – the same glory as Christ. “God called you to this through the Good News we preached to you; he called you to possess your share of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ,” says 2Thessalonians 2:14 (GNB).

PRAYER:
Dear Father, I thank you for bringing Christ’s glory into my life because you have blessed and justified me through my faith in Christ.
