GOD IS FAITHFUL

Lamentations 3:22-25 (NLT), 1Corinthians 1:9 (NKJV)

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. *God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

One of the ways we encounter God’s faithfulness is in our experience of His mercy. There are about 43 different places where the Bible declares that the mercy of God endures forever. “God is the Lord, And He has given us light; Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar. You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever,” (Psa. 118:27-29, NKJV).

Sadly, not many people are very conscious of God’s faithfulness as regards His showing us mercy, because it is very easy to commonise and despise the presence and flow of the mercy of God. Our first text above says God’s mercies never cease and they begin afresh each morning. Do you know what that means? There is always a constant flow of the mercies of God to you; especially in the areas of your life where you need it the most. The challenge however is that in many cases, we have not yet located or identified it and we are not conscious of that flow of mercy. We don’t understand that flow and supply of God’s grace and mercy to us, to help us in that area of our life. It might be in your work, family, relationships, or some other area of your life. God is faithfully supplying His mercy to you, that is why you have been experiencing preservation and prosperity in various areas of your life.

Prayer:
Father, I thank you for your mercy that steadily flows in my life, preserving me and granting me success in various areas of my life.
