YOU’RE THE BRANCH OF A NEW TREE

MATTHEW 12:33 (GNB), JOHN 3:6, GALATIANS 5:22-23 “To have good fruit you must have a healthy tree; if you have a poor tree, you will have bad fruit. A tree is known by the kind of fruit it bears. *That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. *But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Your understanding of the type of tree you are is the key to the type of fruit you will produce in your life. Your acknowledgment of the new nature of God that is now in you is what makes you produce the attributes of God in your life. By your faith in Christ, your DNA has changed. You now have a new life and belong to a new bloodline. God has given birth to you (John 1:12-13) by His word (1Pet.1:23) and His Spirit (1 Cor.12:3&13). You are God’s offspring so you are just like Him. You are a new creature in Christ. Old things have passed away and all things have become new, (2 Cor.5:17). Your old man died with Christ and you now have Christ’s Life in you. All you need to do is acknowledge or take this truth into account because it has already been done by God in Christ, (Rom.6:6-11).

Because of the nature of God in you, you can manifest love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance just like God. It is one fruit that has various manifestations. Ephesians 5:9 also says, “For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth”. As a result of the nature of God that’s in you, you can manifest all goodness righteousness and truth just like God because He is your Daddy and you have His Spirit in you.

PRAYER:

HEAVENLY FATHER, THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME YOUR CHILD AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR DIVINE LIFE AND NATURE THAT ARE IN ME.
