NEW THINGS

*Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV), 2Corinthians 5:17, Philippians 3:13b (NIV) *

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. *Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new *…But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,

In all spheres of your life this year, God wants you to anticipate new experiences. Because of God’s abundant and wonderful works for you, you are a brand-new creation in Christ with much more to come. The things God has planned for you are beyond your vision, hearing, or imagination, but He wants to keep showing them to you through the power of His Spirit so that He can make them happen in your life (1Cor. 2:9–10). New things will continue to show up and manifest in every area of your life. This is what you should be seeing and believing every day.

Stop being fixated on the past, things that pertain to your old life and things that may have gone wrong in your life. Always be conscious of the fact that you are a new creature in Christ and be expectant of the new things God always wants to manifest in your life. The things that have been good in your life will become better, (Prov. 4:18). Things that have not been good will become good. The resurrection power of God is always at work in your life, causing new life to spring forth and raising you to new levels and dimensions of life. Keep renewing your mind with the truth about your new life in Christ and all Christ has done for you (Col.3:16). This is what transforms your life and makes you walk in newness of life, (Rom.12:2, Rom.6:4). You will never have a better yesterday.

Prayer:
Father, I thank you for the new, bigger and better things you are doing in my life.
