THE GLORY OF GOD IS UPON YOUR LIFE (1)

Hebrews 2:10 (GNB), Romans 8:30 (GNB), John 17:22 (GNB)

It was only right that God…should make Jesus perfect through suffering, to bring many children to share his glory. For Jesus is the one who leads them to salvation. …those whom God set apart, he called; and those he called, he put right with himself, and he shared his glory with them.*I gave them the same glory you gave me, so that they may be one, just as you and I are one:

How much are you conscious of the fact that the glory of God is upon your life? As a result of what Adam did, sin came into the world and all men fell short of the glory of God (Rom.3:23), but this is no longer your reality. Because of what Jesus did for you, the fullness of the glory of God has been restored into your life. The glory of God is the nature and the essence of God. It is the weight of God’s presence, and the admirable and distinguishing qualities and attributes of God.

In Christ, God called you to Himself, and when you answered the call, He justified you, and He glorified you (Rom.8:30). Now, you are standing in the grace of God and you can rejoice in the hope of the glory of God, (Rom.5:1-2). The glory of God will surely manifest in your life. Christ in you is the hope of glory (Col.1:27).

Jesus made a very profound statement in our last text above. He said He has given us the very same glory God the Father gave Him, so that we would be one, like He and the Father are one. Being one here, is not merely about our being united; rather, it is about our being just like God. Christ has not just given us His glory, He has made us His glory. This is why in 2 Corinthians 8:23, Paul described some believers as the glory of Christ. Beloved, you too are the glory of Christ.

Faith Declaration:
The glory of God is upon me. God glorified me because of Christ. My life is filled with the nature and essence of God
