YOU ARE ONE WITH JESUS

1 John 4:17, 1CORINTHIANS 6:17, EPHESIANS 5:30, JOHN 15:4 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. *But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. *For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. *Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

One of the things that made Jesus able to do what the Father wanted Him to do, was His consciousness that He was one with the Father, (John 10:30). Jesus told Philip that whoever has seen Him has seen the Father. He said He is in the Father and the Father is in Him. He said the works that He does it is the Father that does them, (John 14:9-11). This strong consciousness of being one with the Father is the same consciousness that Jesus wants us to have of being one with Him. Do you know that you are one with Jesus? How much are you conscious of this? We are the fruit-bearing part of Christ. It’s by seeing us that people see Jesus and know the kind of tree He is. Jesus is in us and we are in Him. The works that we do are not of us; it is Jesus that does them through us.

As believers, we do not change ourselves. It’s as we focus on the glory of Christ that the Spirit of God changes us more and more into the image of Christ from glory to glory, (2 Cor.3:18). We are the bone of His bones and the flesh of His flesh. His fulness is filling us and flowing through us, (Eph.1:23). We must trust and focus more on Jesus if we want to experience and manifest more of His life. We must desire to know Him more and allow His life and nature that’s in us to grow and flow through us more and more.

PRAYER FOCUS:

HEAVENLY FATHER, I THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME ONE WITH JESUS. HELP ME TO KEEP MY FAITH AND FOCUS ON JESUS.
