THE GLORY OF GOD IS UPON YOUR LIFE (2)
ISAIAH 60:1 (AMPC), MATTHEW 5:16 (AMPC) Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! *Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father…
In the Old Testament, the ark of God was a symbol of the presence and the glory of God. When the ark of God stayed in Obededom’s house for three months, the Bible says, “…the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household.” (2 Sam.6:11). It was so visible, that King David heard about it. The glory of God upon your life will cause the blessings of God to manifest in your life. Your life shall be filled with tangible manifestations of the glory and presence of God.
By virtue of the glory of God upon your life, you cannot stay down and defeated in life. Because God’s glory is upon your life, you will arise and shine in every area. The glory of God will be reflected in all you do. In all that you do, your light will so shine before men, that they will see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven, (Matt.5:16). You will manifest the wisdom, love, holiness and excellence of God. People will look at your life and your results and they will know that God is with you. Potiphar saw that God was with Joseph, and God made him prosper, (Gen.39:3). Pharaoh knew that the only way Joseph could speak that way, was because the Spirit of God was in Him, (Gen. 41:38). The Bible says Jesus manifested His glory by doing miracles, (John 2:11). You too will manifest the glory of God upon your life, by manifesting the supernatural power of God.
