THIS IS THE LORD’S DOING (3)

PSALMS 118:21-23 (KJV, NIV)

I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation. The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. *I will give you thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation. The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.

In our study yesterday, we saw how though Jesus was rejected and crucified by men, God used that very scenario to work out His glorious grace and salvation plan for our lives. In the same way, God wants you to know that there may be certain things that will happen to you that the enemy intends for evil, but God will turn them around for your good, for your promotion, and for your celebration.

The Bible says, “You let people ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance,” (Psa.66:12). After God turned Joseph’s story around, he said to his brothers, “You plotted evil against me, but God turned it into good, in order to preserve the lives of many people who are alive today because of what happened,” (Gen. 50:20). “Though once despised and hated and rebuffed by all, you will be beautiful forever, a joy for all the generations of the world, for I will make you so,” (Isa. 60:15, LB). In the past it might have looked like God had forsaken you, but soon people will describe you as one in whom God delights, (Isa. 62:4). Nothing can stop God’s plan for your life. Any attempt to stop it will enhance it. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, (Isa. 54:17). All things are working together for your good, (Rom. 8:28). Several things will make you shout and say, “This is the Lord’s doing!”

FATHER, I THANK YOU FOR YOUR TURNING AROUND EVERYTHING FOR MY GOOD. I RECEIVE DIVINE LIFTING, PROMOTION, AND CELEBRATION.
