THE LOVE OF GOD WILL MAKE YOU PRAY BETTER

Matthew 7:11 (TPT), John 11:41-42 (NLT)

If you, imperfect as you are, know how to lovingly take care of your children and give them what’s best, how much more ready is your heavenly Father to give wonderful gifts to those who ask him?” *So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, thank you for hearing me. You always hear me, but I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here…

The more you grow in your consciousness of the love of God, the more you will see Him as a loving Father to you. This is the true way God wants us to see Him and pray to Him, (Matt. 6:9). God sees us as His sons (offspring), not subjects. Jesus came to raise many sons unto glory, (Heb. 2:10). Jesus is the firstborn among many brethren and God has conformed us to the image of Jesus’ Sonship, (Rom. 8:29). We are now in the kingdom of His dear Son, (Col. 1:13). The Bible describes us as the church of the firstborn, (Heb. 12:23).

The love God has for you as your Father is greater than the love any good human parent can ever have for his or her child. When you pray and ask God for anything, He is more willing to give you what you are asking for. God wants you to always be as confident as Jesus was that His prayers would always be answered. He does not want you to be anxious about anything; instead, He wants you to pray, telling Him what you want and thanking Him in the process, (Phil. 4:6). He loves you so much and by His mighty power at work in you, He will do much more than you are asking Him for, (Eph. 3:20). God wants you to come boldly to His throne of grace to obtain His mercy and receive His grace for your time of need, (Heb. 4:16). When you ask Him for His wisdom or anything you desire, He will grant it to you abundantly, (James 1:5).

Action Point:
Pray right now to your Heavenly Father, with boldness and confidence, about that pressing issue on your heart.
