YOU HAVE GOD’S PEACEFUL NATURE

Galatians 5:22-23a (LB), John 14:27 (TPT)
But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control; *“I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!

Peace is the nature of God in us that keeps us calm and unafraid, even amidst challenges, troubles and storms. In our second text above, Jesus reassures us that it is His peace that has been given unto us. There was never a time when any situation was strong enough to shake Jesus and cause Him to lose His peace. Instead of being troubled by storms or influenced by the insecurity of others, He brought calm to the storms and stirred up faith in the lives of others. By Christ’s peace in you, you will always do the same.

The peace you have with God (because of the sacrifice of Christ for you) is what guarantees you divine peace in every area of your life. Your peace is also born out of your consciousness of who God is and of God’s great will and presence that abides with you. He is our Shepherd that leads you beside still waters. The peace of God in you makes you whole and able to hear God’s voice, think straight and make progress no matter your circumstances. The peace of God you manifest shows the extent to which you have entered God’s rest, (Heb.4:3,10). Everything you do should be done from a place of rest. Your having God’s peace does not mean you are to sit idle. Rather, it causes you to confront life with confidence and boldness as you walk in line with God’s will, no matter the situation prevailing around you.

Faith Declaration:
I have God’s nature of peace and it’s superior to that of this world. I am never shaken or moved by any circumstance.
