DIVINE ORCHESTRATIONS (2)

Esther 6:1-2, 6a (NIV)

That night the king could not sleep; so he ordered the book of the chronicles, the record of his reign, to be brought in and read to him. It was found recorded there that Mordecai had exposed …two of the king’s officers who guarded the doorway, who had conspired to assassinate King Xerxes. *When Haman entered, the king asked him, “What should be done for the man the king delights to honor?”

When Mordecai was exposing the evil plot against the king’s life, he never knew God would ensure his act of kindness would be recorded and that God would use it to later bless him in an unusual way. The very night before Haman was to come and ask the king to hang Mordecai, God made the king unable to sleep and of all things to do, he asked for the book of records to be read to him. God then made him hear what Mordecai did and took a keen interest in rewarding him. Instead of being allowed to hang Mordecai, Haman was eventually sent to honour and celebrate Mordecai. Haman felt humiliated.

Haman had also planned to eradicate the entire Jews, but through Esther, his plan was foiled. Haman was hanged, Mordecai was promoted, the lives of the Jews were preserved and they became so blessed that many non-Jews were converting and becoming Jews (Esth.8:15-17).

Now, why do you think God did all these for the Jews? God had to preserve them because Christ (the promised seed of Abraham – Gal. 3:16) would come through them. Just as God divinely orchestrated things in favour of the Jews because of Christ, He is doing the same for you now because of Christ. Christ will be glorified in your life.

Faith Declaration:
Father, I thank you that because of Christ, you are manifesting your power and turning things around in my favour.
