GOD HAS GIVEN YOU A GREAT AND WONDERFUL YEAR
Romans 8:32 (AMPC), Joshua 6:1-2 (AMPC)
He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things? *Now Jericho [a fenced town with high walls] was tightly closed because of the Israelites; no one went out or came in. And the Lord said to Joshua, See, I have given Jericho, its king and mighty men of valor, into your hands.
The second reason why you will have a great year is that God has already given you a great and wonderful year. God has not just given you a great and wonderful year, He has given it to you freely. He gave it to you when He was giving you Christ. Christ has paid for it and God has given it to you. All you have to do right now is to receive it. Stop worrying about how you will have a great year; instead, know that God has given you a great year and position yourself to receive and experience it, (Matt. 6:31-32).
God desires that you have a great and wonderful year more than you desire it for yourself. Just like parents would make great plans for their children before bringing their children into the world, God made great plans for you before bringing you into this year. Just as you did not bring yourself into this world, you did not bring yourself into this year; God did. God brought you into this year because He loves you and He has made great plans for your life. He is responsible for you.
God has given you a great year and in Christ, He has given you everything you need to have a great year (2Pet. 1:3). Just as God said to Joshua concerning Jericho, you need to SEE IT that God has given this great year into your hands.
Prayer:
Father, I thank you for giving me a great and wonderful year. I see it and I receive now in all areas of my life in Jesus name
