BENEFITS OF BEING CONSCIOUS OF GOD’S FAITHFULNESS

Hebrews 11:11 (KJV, TPT)

Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. *Sarah’s faith embraced the miracle power to conceive even though she was barren and was past the age of childbearing, for the authority of her faith rested in the One who made the promise, and she tapped into his faithfulness.

Being conscious of God’s faithfulness in supplying His mercy to us, fills us with hope and strength. Psalms 27:13-14 says, “I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.” When you are always conscious of God’s faithfulness in the flow of His mercy to you, you will have the hope and assurance of the manifestation of God’s goodness in your life. This hope strengthens you and keeps you going no matter what you face.

In 2 Corinthians 4:1 (LB), Apostle Paul said, “It is God himself, in his mercy, who has given us this wonderful work of telling his Good News to others, and so we never give up.” The Amplified Classic says, “Therefore, since we do hold and engage in this ministry by the mercy of God [granting us favor, benefits, opportunities, and especially salvation], we do not get discouraged (spiritless and despondent with fear) or become faint with weariness and exhaustion.”

His hope and strength came from his consciousness that the ministry he had received was by the mercy of God. Because Sarah knew God was faithful, she trusted God and she experienced the promise.

Faith Declaration:
God is faithful! And because of His faithfulness and mercy I am full of strength and hope
