Judges 6:13-14 (GNB) Gideon said to him, “If I may ask, sir, why has all this happened to us if the Lord is with us? … Then the Lord ordered him, “Go with all your great strength and rescue Israel form the Midianites. I myself am sending you.”

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

In Christ, God has chosen and ordained you to be the answer and solution to many problems and challenges around you. Just like Gideon, there are things you may have been upset and complaining about that God is saying I ha e chosen and equipped you to handle. Stop complaining about them and start doing something about them. Always remember that God does not see you the way you see yourself; rather, He sees you based on who He has made you in Christ and on what He has called you to do on this earth. In Isaiah 42:6-8, the Bible says, “I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners form the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another…”

I know that men may not have chosen you. In fact, you may not have chosen yourself to solve the problems around you and to do certain great exploits that you may have only imagined. But God does not call the qualified. He qualifies the called. God chooses those that are foolish and weak to do things that will amaze those who think they are wise and strong, 1 Cor. 1:27-29. God does this so that He alone will take the glory. Don’t limit God. Just submit yourself to Him. As you continually submit yourself to God, His glorious power and grace will flow through you mightily.

Prayer Focus:

Pray to God about those burdens on your heart and yield yourself to Hm. Ask Him to flow through you to solve them.
