LIVE BY YOUR GLORIOUS IDENTITY IN CHRIST

2Corinthians 5:16-17 (LB)

So stop evaluating Christians by what the world thinks about them or by what they seem to be like on the outside. Once I mistakenly thought of Christ that way, merely as a human being like myself. How differently I feel now! When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same anymore. A new life has begun!

Some people missed out on the glory and power of God that Jesus wanted to manifest in their lives, because they chose to see Him only by His outward, physical, and natural attributes, (Mark 6:1-6). They were ignorant of His inward, spiritual and divine attributes. In the same way, when we too are ignorant of our inward, spiritual and divine attributes in Christ we cut ourselves short and limit ourselves from walking in the will and fullness of God for our lives.

The world will always try to judge us and limit us by what we have or do not have, or how we look in the physical/natural, but we must not allow their limited mindset to contaminate us. We must always see ourselves and live our lives by who we are in Christ, what we have in Him, and what we can do because of His life in us. This is how God sees us. This is how to live by faith and not by sight.

Do not be carnally minded; be spiritually minded, (Rom. 8:5-6). Stop seeing yourself according to the flesh. You are one with Christ (1Cor. 6:17, 1John 4:17). Do not see yourself any less than Christ sees Himself. Whatever is possible for Christ is possible for you. Fill yourself with more of the revelation of Christ and ask God to open your eyes more to your new and glorious identity in Christ.

Faith Declaration:
I am a new creature and I am one with Christ. Whatever is possible for Christ is possible for me.
