YOU SHALL GET TO THE OTHER SIDE

LUKE 8:22-24a (GNB)

One day Jesus got into a boat with his disciples and said to them, “Let us go across to the other side of the lake.”… As they were sailing, Jesus fell asleep. Suddenly a strong wind blew down on the lake, and the boat began to fill with water, so that they were all in great danger. The disciples went to Jesus and woke him up, saying, “Master, Master! We are about to die!”

Everything God does, He does by His word. Everything was made by the word of God, (John 1:1-3). God’s word can become whatever it needs to become to perform whatever God wants to be performed, (Psa.147:15-18, GNB).

When Jesus said to His disciples, “Let us go to the other side,” He was not suggesting or asking them if they wanted to go to the other side. It is just like when God said let there be light. Light had no other choice than to come into existence. When Jesus told His disciples they were going to the other side, they had no other choice than to get to the other side. Nothing could stop or limit them from getting to the other side. They were not going to the other side by boat. They were going by the word of God. The Bible says Jesus upholds all things by the word of His power or by the power of His word, (Heb.1:3). The Good News Bible says He sustains the universe with His powerful word. Jesus will uphold and sustain your life by the power of His word.

When an unexpected storm arose on their way, it was still His word that Jesus used to calm the storm. The same word that God has spoken over your life in Christ, will take care of every challenge that will arise on your way to where God has said you will get to.

FAITH DECLARATION:
I SHALL GET TO THE OTHER SIDE ACCORDING TO GOD’S WORD. THE WORD OF GOD SUSTAINS AND UPHOLDS EVERY AREA OF MY LIFE.
