EMPOWERED TO LEAD AND MAKE A GREAT IMPACT LIKE JESUS (2)

John 14:12, John 20:21, Colossians 3:17a (TPT)

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. *Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. *Let every activity of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One.

Today, we shall study more lessons from Jesus’ life as a model for how God desires and has empowered us to lead and make a great impact.

Jesus trained and taught His disciples a lot. He did not just teach them, He practiced what He taught them. The Bible says He began to do and to teach, (Acts 1:1). Jesus was an exemplary leader. He also prayed for the Spirit to fill them and empower them to continue His mission. Jesus always spoke the truth and He spoke with great boldness and authority. He knew He was representing God the Father and He knew that God the Father was always with Him, (John 8:29). Jesus did not tolerate misbehavior. He used a whip to drive out those who wanted to turn His Father’s house from a house of prayer into a den of thieves, (John 2:13-15, Mark 11:15-17). Jesus did great signs and wonders and He manifested God’s power abundantly. He knew He was anointed and He knew it was God the Father that was working in Him and through Him, (John 14:10).

Jesus was full of the wisdom of God. In every situation He found Himself, Jesus always knew what to do, (John 6:1-6). He was never confused. He operated by a wisdom that was beyond His natural background and many were amazed at His works, (Mark 6:2-3).

Faith Declaration:
By the life of Christ, I am full of wisdom, I train others, I speak the truth with boldness and I do signs and wonders
