GOD IS AT WORK IN YOUR LIFE

Jer. 29:11 (LB), Phil. 2:13 (LB, NLT), Lam. 3:37 (LB)

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. *For God is at work within you, helping you want to obey him, and then helping you do what he wants. *For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. *For who can act against you without the Lord’s permission?

As I celebrate my 81st birthday today, my heart is so full of joy and gratitude to God, for His abundant goodness and faithfulness in my life and family all these years.

I want to seize this opportunity to admonish and encourage you to always remember that your life is in God’s hands. God is at work in your life. There will be many times you will not feel like it, but God’s goodness and faithfulness are not based on your feelings; they are based on His great love and plans for your life. God has a plan for your life and His plan is working. Nothing and no one can snatch you from God’s hands, (John 10:29). Nothing and no one can stop God’s plan for your life. Whether you know it or not, God is divinely orchestrating things in your favour, to work out His glorious and divine plan for your life in Christ. All things are working together for your good.

Today, as you join me to rejoice and thank God for His goodness and faithfulness in my life, I want you to also thank God that your life is in His hands, and thank Him that He is at work in your life; working out His perfect plan and will for you in Christ. Keep yielding yourself to God and keep doing His will. Remain faithful in your commitment and service unto Him. You will not regret knowing and serving the Lord.

Thanksgiving Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you that my life is in your hands, and I thank you for the great work you are doing in my life.
