THE FAITH OF WALKING IN THE SPIRIT

Romans 8:5-6, 2Corinthians 5:7 (KJV, GNB, TPT) For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.(For we walk by faith, not by sight:). *For our life is a matter of faith, not of sight. *for we live by faith, not by what we see with our eyes.

Faith is a major part of living by the leading and control of the Spirit. Without faith we cannot please God and without faith we cannot live as God wants us to live. Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

You are a spirit, you have a soul and you live in a body. Trying to live your life and relate with God by your human senses and desires will limit you and make you struggle unnecessarily. It will make you unable to experience God’s victory and blessings for you. Jesus told Martha, “If you believe, you will see the glory of God.” (John 11:40).

We were not designed to live and function the way people around us live and function. We were designed to live and function like God. We do not live by what our senses or physical circumstances tell us, we live by our spiritual realities in Christ, for we are one with Him. We do not live by bread alone or by any physical reality but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, (Matt.4:4). That is why when men are cast down, we shall say there is a lifting up, (Job 22:29) and though a thousand fall by your side and ten thousand at your right hand it shall not come near you, (Psa.91:7).

Faith Declaration:
I am a spirit. I live by faith and not by sight. I walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. I live by the word of God.
