GOD’S TESTIMONY OF YOU

Acts 13:21-22

And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years. And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

What testimony do you desire that God will give about your life? God testified of Abraham’s commitment to command his children and household after him, to keep God’s ways (Gen.18:19). God testified that Job was a perfect and upright man, feared God, eschewed evil and there was none like him in the earth, (Job 1:8). God testified that David was a man after God’s own heart and that David would fulfill all His will. O what an amazing testimony for God to give about a man. May God give such an amazing testimony about your life.

Acts 13:36 says, “For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers,…” The Good News Bible says, “For David served God’s purposes in his own time, and then he died, was buried with his ancestors…” God is looking for men and women who will serve His purpose to their generation. Will you be such a man or woman? God is always looking for men and women who will stand in the gap for His will to be done in their generation, (Ezek.22:30). I pray that God will find you and use you in your generation. That you will not just serve your purpose and live like every other person in your generation. Life is more than having our needs met. Life is an opportunity God has given us to know Him and fulfill His purpose.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I love you and my life is after your own heart. Please use me to fulfill your will and purpose in my generation.
