THE BASIS FOR THE MANIFESTATION OF GOD’S WORD/PROMISES

Romans 4:13 (AMPC, GNB)

For the promise to Abraham or his posterity, that he should inherit the world, did not come through [observing the commands of] the Law but through the righteousness of faith. *When God promised Abraham and his descendants that the world would belong to him, he did so, not because Abraham obeyed the Law, but because he believed and was accepted as righteous by God.

The manifestation of God’s word/promises to you is not based on your efforts or obeying the Law; it is based on the righteousness of faith (your being righteous because of your faith in Christ). It was Abraham’s faith in Christ that made God declare him righteous, (Gal. 3:6-8). When God told Abraham about the coming, dying and resurrection of Christ, faith was stirred up in his heart and Abraham was set on course to experience the supernatural. This is why Jesus said Abraham saw his day and was glad, (John 8:56).

The reason some people let go or lose sight of God’s word/promises is because their minds are more focused on what they need to do to pay or qualify for the manifestation of God’s word/promises. But God wants you to focus on what Christ has done for you. Galatians 3:5 (NLT) says, “I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.”

You have been made righteous because of your faith in Jesus (Rom. 3:22, 2Cor. 5:21). This is what qualifies you to experience the glory and power of God and this is what empowers you to know and do God’s will in every area of your life. Keep your faith in Jesus.

Faith Declaration:
By my faith in Christ, I am righteous and I experience God’s promises and miraculous power in my life always.
