HIDDEN RICHES (2)

ISAIAH 45:2-3, COLOSSIANS 2:3 (TPT)
I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, … *For our spiritual wealth is in him, like hidden treasure waiting to be discovered—heaven’s wisdom and endless riches of revelation knowledge

There’s another dimension of the hidden riches God gives us. Beyond the material things, new opportunities, ideas, and relationships that God grants us along with victory over challenges, God also stirs up and manifests the hidden riches of Christ in our lives. The riches God has provided and hidden for us in Christ are so glorious and inexhaustible (Eph. 3:8). It is from this riches God supplies our needs, (Phil.4:19).

The major way we access these riches and inheritance is by the wisdom and revelation of Christ – the Gospel. In our second text above, The Passion Translation describes this as our spiritual wealth. Sadly, not many believers are conscious and desirous of this. In 1 Corinthians 2:7, Paul speaks about the hidden wisdom God has ordained for our glory. As Christ and all He has done for us is being revealed to us, the wisdom, power, blessings and glory of God are stirred up in our lives. By the Cross, God did not just go ahead of us to destroy the devil’s power over us, He also enriched us in Christ. Now we are complete in Him, (Col.2:10, 15, Acts 26:18). In Christ, God has deposited His glorious riches and inheritance in us and He wants to open our eyes to them, (Eph. 1:17-20). As the wisdom and revelation of Christ fills our lives, we are transformed and we walk in higher dimensions of God’s glory. A major part of God’s inheritance in us is the fruit and gifts of the Spirit.
