INCREASE YOUR EXPECTATION FOR THE SUPERNATURAL

Matthew 14:26-29

And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit, and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

How high is your desire for the supernatural? What supernatural manifestations are you asking God for? In James 4:2b the Bible says “You have not, because you ask not.” Increase your faith and vision for the supernatural. Believe in God for big things. Things beyond your capacity. Expect great and supernatural things. See yourself experiencing supernatural things and see yourself manifesting God’s supernatural power to touch and bless the lives of others.

While every other disciple was still wondering if it was Jesus walking on the water to them, Peter was desiring to walk on water. While King Saul and every Israelite were dismayed and greatly threatened by Goliath’s threat, David came and began asking what would be given to the man who killed Goliath, (1Sam.17:26). While every other student prophet was sad that God would be taking Elijah away soon, Elisha followed Elijah closely, and desired a double portion of his anointing, (2Kings 2:1-14).

One reason many believers are not operating in the supernatural is because they do not have a genuine desire to. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, and minds have not imagined, the kind of deep things God has in store for you, (1 Cor. 2:9-10). Don’t let your challenges or anything limit your faith and mentality for the supernatural.

Prayer Focus:
Tell God the new dimensions of His supernatural power you desire to experience and manifest.
