THE POWER OF HAVING A VICTORIOUS PERSPECTIVE OF CHALLENGES (1)

MATTHEW 13:3, 5-6, 21

And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; *Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. *…when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

The major reason some believers do not experience the fruit and glorious impact of the word of God in their lives, is because they get offended and forget God’s word when they are faced with challenges.

The reason they get offended, is because of the mindset and perspective they have of their challenges. They think that kind of thing should not happen to them because they are believers, or because they just heard God’s word. But the truth is, that thing is happening to them because they are believers and they just heard God’s word.

Jesus said, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have TRIBULATION: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world,” (John 16:33). Tribulations will come but they won’t prevail or work against you, because Jesus has overcome them. The Bible says, “MANY are the afflictions of the RIGHTEOUS, but the Lord delivers him FROM THEM ALL,” (Psa.34:9). Paul said “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us, (Rom.8:35-37).

PRAYER:
FATHER, PLEASE HELP ME TO HAVE A VICTORIOUS PERSPECTIVE OF MY CHALLENGES. MAY I NOT GOT OFFENDED EASILY AND GIVE UP ON YOUR WORD.
