KEEP TURNING MANY TO RIGHTEOUSNESS

Daniel 12:3 (AMPC), Proverbs 11:30 (AMPC)

…those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness (to uprightness and right standing with God) [shall give forth light] like the stars forever and ever. *The fruit of the [uncompromisingly] righteous is a tree of life, and he who is wise captures human lives [for God, as a fisher of men—he gathers and receives them for eternity].

The basic way we turn people to righteousness is by preaching the Gospel to them. Paul said, “…I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth…For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith,” (Rom. 1:16-17).

In reality, we are not the ones doing the turning. Only God has the power to turn men to righteousness, and He does so as we preach the Gospel to them. We are only collaborating with God. Acts 3:26 (TPT) says, “Now that God has raised his Son, he has chosen to send him first to you that he might bless you by turning each one of you from your wickedness”. As Christ is revealed to men through the Gospel, God turns them to righteousness. This is the way God truly blesses people.

God wants us to have grand visions of souls being harvested into His kingdom. He desires that we preach the Gospel to a large number of people and that many people be saved as a result of our efforts. This is the major task God has assigned to each of us (2 Cor.5:18-20), and it will serve as the foundation for our rewards in Heaven. Give yourself more to the preaching of the Gospel and to praying for more people to hear the Gospel and be saved.

Prayer:
Father, please use me to turn many to righteousness. Thank you for empowering me to preach the Gospel and show love to people
