SWITCH AND KEEP GROWING

Matthew 13:3, 8, 23

And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. *But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

For the past few days, our focus has been on our attitude towards God’s word, and the great impact our attitude to God’s word can have on our lives. In case you have not had a very good attitude to God’s word in the past, all hope is not lost. Instead of feeling terrible or envying others who have results in their lives because they’ve been attending to God’s word rightly, decide to switch your attitude and start experiencing the benefits of having a right attitude to God’s word.

Always focus on God’s word until you get understanding. Know that immediately you receive God’s word, situations of life will arise to test that word and give you an opportunity to allow that word grow and manifest in your life. God cares about you and He wants you to be prosperous. Keep your faith in Him and don’t reduce your faith and commitment to God and His word because of your desire to meet your needs and solve your problems.

Also remember that it is by faith and patience we inherit the promises of God, (Heb. 6:12). As you improve your attitude to God’s word, the results may not be immediate, but if you are patient they will come. When the results start coming, they will also come in degrees – thirty-fold, sixty-fold, then hundred-fold. Don’t give up. Keep growing.

Father, I thank you for the grace to keep growing and improving in my attitude to your word.
